When people are alive we fail to appreciate the good in them. How many people bothered to listen to her music before her death, like her fan page or even follow her on twitter? How many time did you support her by sharing and broadcasting all her updates,or liked her statuses?
I am not writing this, sipping tea ,with my bottom well adjusted on my judgement seat, instead I am writing this out of a personal realisation. Perhaps not a realisation but out of a recently learned life lesson that Goldie's death brought home once again.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, thus the GOLDEN RULE. Appreciate the good in people now. Hug them now, visit the now, call them now , PING them now, promote their music and sing their praises now. For after they are gone; your praises are as good as money buried beside them in the grave. Well you get the gist. :-)
May God keep us all, may Goldie's soul and the many that died at that same hour as her that went unreported due to their anonymity rest in peace. Amen.
