Buying Fake Facebook 'Likes'?

I got this email couple of days ago, and it's worth sharing (well, at least I think it is) so here it is.

"Greetings

I offer genuine, targeted Facebook fans/likes and Twitter fans for businesses as a way to begin creating more business via social networks. A 'like' is somebody that is vouching for your fanpage and is satisfied with your service - similar to a testimonial. When you have thousands of likes you will observe a lot more interest shown towards your fanpage and can definitely assist kick start a surge of profits. It fills your follower with total confidence and can view that you're a trusted authority.
A portion of the likes are also individuals from your very own location who may do business directly with you, the rest nationwide. I have customers from throughout the globe and can provide testimonials, first hand Facebook accounts any anything else you may want to know without a problem.
They are not just random individuals, they are mostly targeted as a result of how they are generated. As tempting as it may all seem, there is nothing that beats the satisfaction of knowing that every single like and follower on my page (however small they are) chose to do so of their own accord. In fact the 'likes' and 'subscription' either they come every six months or a year, it helps to booster my spirit,a great encouragement on a journey that can sometimes seem pointless.  Andy made a great point when he said "When a possible customer views your Facebook page and notices that you have 8000+ likes rather than your rivals with only 300 followers they will certainly select you each time without considering cost differences." However I believe what ever is yours won't  pass you by.  What do you think?
