Reasons behind 'OJUMO'

For those of you who have not been following my progress,'OJUMO' is the title of my latest single. Ojumo means day break in Yoruba, but I'm not here to bore you with all of that...I have attached a link to the song;where you'll find the meaning translated into English.

In Ojumo, I tackle the controversial issue of fake pastors, charlatans, wolf in sheep clothing, or whatever one chooses to call them. I did this, not because I myself I'm perfect;far from it; for I know it is in my imperfection that God's strength is magnified. Perhaps, like myself, you bought into the delusion, that we must not judge, or that one must be 100% spotless in order to represent Christ, but I have learned it suffices only to be honest with oneself ,with God and with man. In the aforementioned lays my problem with 'gods of men', sorry I mean 'men of God'. This air of grandiosity, this pseudo God like persona. 'I'm better than you, because I have been called and everything I say is ordained and approved by God. So if you dare dispute me,thunder will strike you'. Just for a moment, let's imagine Jesus' saying those words to people as he went around preaching and healing people. It beggars belief, right? For Jesus not to feel self important( even though it would be within His rights to do so), what rights therefore do the self appointed bishops, pastors, dickens and prophetesses have to manipulate and control people by fear? Is that not in itself evil?

To those who say that the gullible followers or worshippers should be equally to blame;I do not believe so. Let's imagine for a moment...  A lady is seriously ill and goes to see her GP(Doctor), and after examining her, he tells her that she has a very serious condition. He tells her that the situation is critical ... Okay, permit me if you may to stop the anecdote here. Do you not believe that anything the doctor tells the lady from this point on, will be taken on board with little hesitation due to trust and desperation?  Will she then be to blame if the doctor abuses the trust she placed in his authority?

To conclude, we(Christians and seekers of Christ)  must endeavour to question everything. God gave you  reasoning for a reason;do pardon the pun.
